Stefano Bartolini is a professor at the University of Siena, where he teaches Political Economy and the only course in the Economics of Happiness at Italian universities.

He is the author of numerous articles in prestigious international academic journals and popular science essays, including the best-selling Manifesto for Happiness, translated into five languages, and the more recent Ecology of Happiness, currently being translated into English and Japanese.

He has collaborated with major international institutions such as the World Bank, the OECD, and the IPSP (International Panel on Social Progress) and has published articles in various newspapers.

Bartolini’s work explores how we can achieve economic wealth prosperity without sacrificing human relationships, well-being, and the environment.
